LEBANON, Ohio- Anderson got off to a fast start and defeated Lebanon 38-20 on Friday night. The Redskins had 503 yards of total offense.
Lebanon started off with the ball and went three-and-out. Anderson quickly scored when Jackson Kuhn found Joey Faulkner for a 25-yard touchdown. The Warriors responded on a 58-yard touchdown run by Keith Farr to tie the game at 7. Kuhn found the end zone again, but this time with a 68-yard touchdown run. After a Lebanon punt, Kuhn connected with Evan Upchurch for a 51-yard touchdown to make the lead 21-7 at the end of the first quarter. Keith Farr scored from two yards out to cut the Anderson lead to 21-14 in the second quarter. The Redskins tacked on a field goal and went into the half up 24-14.
Jerrick McClanahan scored on a 34-yard reception from Jackson Kuhn in the third quarter to push the score to 31-14. The Warriors fought to stay in the game. Brayden Everitt scored on a 17-yard touchdown run to cut the Redskin lead to 31-20 in the fourth quarter. A 78-yard touchdown pass from Kuhn to Joey Faulkner was the dagger as Anderson would go on to win 38-20.
Jackson Kuhn had four passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. Billy Knott had two interceptions for Anderson. Joey Faulkner had two touchdown receptions. Evan Upchurch and Jerrick McClanahan each had a receiving touchdown.
Keith Farr had 29 carries for 229 yards and two touchdowns for the Warriors. Quarterback Brayden Everitt also added a touchdown run. Mason DeGennaro had two sacks for Lebanon.
Lebanon drops to 1-2 and will travel to Kings High School to play the Knights on Friday. Anderson improves to 2-1 and will be home against West Clermont High School on Friday night.
