PIQUA, Ohio- Anderson High School will travel to Piqua, Ohio to take on the Piqua Indians on October 23rd at 7 p.m. Piqua is 7-0 and is coming off of a 42-7 win against Harrison in the playoffs last Friday. Anderson comes in at 6-2 and is coming off of a 52-14 win against Teays Valley at home in the playoffs last Friday.
The Redskins come in as a 6 seed in the playoffs. The Indians are a 3 seed. Piqua is ranked 44th in the state of Ohio, while Anderson is ranked 91st. This will be a big test for the Redskins. Anderson is 2-0 in out of conference play this year. Piqua is 3-0 in out of conference play.
Jackson Kuhn is on pace to have at least 20 passing touchdowns and 20 rushing touchdowns this campaign. The Redskins are on pace to have four players with 500 or more receiving yards.
Anderson has scored 50 or more points in 3 of their 8 games this season. Piqua has shut out their opponents in 3 of their 7 games so far this season. Anderson is carrying a three game winning streak and have not lost in the month of October. Can Piqua keep their perfect season alive?
