CINCINNATI, Ohio- The battle between two undefeated ECC teams ended in a 36-10 win for Anderson on Friday night. Quarterback Owen Scalf passed for 399 yards and three touchdowns through the air. Running back Jordan Davis rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Tysin Weaver caught three touchdowns passes. Mark Madden had an interception and a 42-yard return on the defensive side of the ball for the Raptors. Quarterback Luke Falker had 113 yards through the air and Logan Schmenk finished with 87 rushing yards for Lebanon.

Lebanon jumped out to an early 7-0 lead with a 15-yard interception return for a touchdown from Hunter Davis. Anderson responded 2 and a half minutes later with a 2-yard touchdown reception from Owen Scalf to Tysin Weaver to pull the score to 7-6. The Raptors quickly got the ball back and scored again just one minute later with a 29-yard pass from Owen Scalf to Tegan Jallick. Jordan Davis would convert on the two-point conversion to give Anderson a 14-7 lead. The Warriors drove down the field and cut the lead to 14-10 with a 34-yard field goal from Logan Lane. This concluded a competitive, back-and-forth opening quarter.

Wide receiver Cooper Kathman would find Tysin Weaver for a 27-yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter. The rest of the quarter would be relatively quiet and the Raptors would take a 21-10 lead into the locker room. Tysin Weaver caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Owen Scalf with a little under two minutes to go in the third quarter. Jordan Davis was successful on the two-point attempt to extend the lead to 29-10. Davis found the end zone once again on a 20-yard scamper halfway through the fourth quarter to cap a 36-10 victory.

Anderson had 537 yards of total offense and 27 first downs. Lebanon gained 222 yards of total offense and won the time of possession battle. Each team turned the ball over once. Anderson was 6-for-13 on third down, while Lebanon was 8-for-22 on their third down attempts. The Raptors defense got pressure on quarterback Luke Faler, sacking him four times and deflecting 12 passes. The Raptors defense also had 11 tackles for loss.

Anderson improves to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in ECC play. They will travel to play undefeated Kings next Friday at 7 p.m. Lebanon falls to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play. They will travel to play Little Miami next Friday at 7 p.m.
