CINCINNATI, Ohio– Two of the hottest teams in the ECC will face off this Friday night at 7 p.m. when the Anderson Raptors travel to Winton Woods High School to take on the Warriors. Anderson comes in on an eight game winning streak, starting 8-0 overall and 7-0 in conference. Winton Woods is riding a six-game winning streak and stand at 7-1 overall and 6-1 in conference play. The only loss for the Warriors came back in week two in a close 16-14 game against Kings. The Raptors have only allowed 90 points this season, second lowest in the ECC. Winton Woods comes in first, giving up only 77 points through 8 games. Anderson is first in points scored by a comfortable margin, racking up 410 points so far this season. Winton Woods is fifth in the conference with 223 points scored.
Winton Woods: Quarterback Bryshawn Brown has 1,621 passing yards and 14 touchdowns through the air. Brown also has added 352 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the ground. Jon’ir Travis leads the ECC in receiving yards with 744, while catching seven touchdowns. Jayvion McKinney-Cooper leads the ECC with 6.5 sacks for the Warriors.
Anderson: Quarterback Owen Scalf leads the ECC with 2,603 passing yards and 25 touchdowns. Scalf has also picked up 299 yards with his legs and four rushing touchdowns. Jordan Davis has 854 total yards (433 rushing, 421 receiving), 15 touchdowns (13 rushing, 2 receiving), and 14 successful two-point conversions. Wide receiver Tysin Weaver has 696 yards and 14 touchdowns on the season. Linebacker Brady Kuhn has 71 tackles and 5.5 sacks on the defensive side of the ball. Defensive back Ace Alston has two interceptions for the Raptors.
Anderson O vs Winton Woods D: Winton Woods allows just 173.6 yards and 8.6 points per game. Anderson averages 484.4 yards and 51.3 points per game. The Raptors average 349.6 passing yards, while the Warriors are allowing just 107 yards per game through the air. Anderson averages 134.6 rushing yards, while Winton Woods gives up 66.6 yards per game on the ground.
Winton Woods O vs Anderson D: The Warriors average 389.4 yards and 31.9 points per game. Anderson allows 182 yards and 11.3 points per game. Winton Woods averages 234.7 passing yards, while Anderson allows just 112.1 yards through the air. The Warriors average 154.7 rush yards, while Anderson gives up 69.9 yards per game on the ground.
