CINCINNATI, Ohio- The Anderson Redskins will travel to Winton Woods High School to take on the Warriors on Friday, September 25th, at 7 p.m. Anderson is 3-1 and is coming off of a 42-0 win against West Clermont. Winton Woods is 4-0 and is coming off of a 49-14 win against Milford High School. Winton Woods, Turpin, and Kings are all undefeated teams in the ECC. Anderson follows closely behind with just one loss. This will be a huge test for the Redskins.
Anderson has scored 164 points this season, which is the most in the ECC. Winton Woods has only allowed 47 points through their first four games. For a team as run-heavy as Winton Woods is, it’s surprising to see they have not won the time-of-possession battle against any of their opponents this season. Anderson is fresh off of a shutout victory, but Winton Woods will want to test their run defense and see if they can sustain some good drives early. The Redskins will try to keep up their high-powered offense against this Warrior defense that has been impressive thus far.
