CINCINNATI, Ohio- The Anderson Raptors earned their first shutout and scored the most points they have scored in a single game all year in a 63-0 win against the Milford Eagles. The Raptors jumped out to a 14-0 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Anderson had a huge 28-point second quarter that extended the lead to 42-0 at halftime.

Jordan Davis scored on a three-yard rush and converted on the two-point conversion less than three minutes into the game to start the scoring for Anderson. Owen Scalf scored nearly six minutes later on a nine-yard rush to give Anderson a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter was an explosion for the Raptors. Jordan Davis had a four yard rushing touchdown with just a little over two minutes gone by in the quarter. Cooper Kathman caught a six-yard touchdown pass from Owen Scalf just two minutes later. Ke’Maury Tye had a blocked punt recovery for a touchdown just a minute later. Jordan Davis scored on a two-yard run with under two minutes left to close the half, giving Anderson a 42-0 advantage going into the locker room.

Jeremiah Glenn found Cooper Snider on a 59-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. Luke Pastura scored on a 3-yard rush near the midway point of the fourth quarter. Swing Mullins capped off the night with a 41-yard interception return for a touchdown to make the final score 63-0.

Quarterback Owen Scalf finished with 333 total yards (286 passing, 47 rushing), four touchdowns (three passing, one rushing), and one interception on the night. Running back Jordan Davis had 121 total yards (37 rushing, 84 receiving) and three rushing touchdowns. Wide receivers Cooper Kathman (four receptions, 32 yards) and Cooper Snider (two receptions, 64 yards) each had a touchdown. Tegan Jallick finished with seven receptions for 73 yards, with a long of a 23 yard reception. Tysin Weaver had six receptions for 94 yards, including a 27 yard reception. Cornerback Ke’Maury Tye had two interceptions, while Kallen Hermans and Swing Mullins had one interception each on the defensive side of the ball for the Raptors. Henry Bee, Alex Hartley, and James Schnurstein all added a sack each. Anderson had seven pass deflections, six tackles for loss, and three sacks as a unit defensively.

Jayden Bodley had 99 yards and three interceptions. Wide receiver Karson Long had five receptions for 69 yards, including a 28-yard reception. Jake Dixon had 10 tackles, while Isaiah Smith had an interception on the defensive side of the ball for the Eagles.

Anderson had 540 yards of total offense (369 passing, 171 rushing), 24 first downs, and converted on 4 of their 6 third down attempts while turning the ball over once. Milford finished with 118 yards of total offense (99 passing, 19 rushing), 8 first downs, and converted on 3 of their 11 third down opportunities while turning the ball over four times.

Anderson improves to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play. They will travel to take on Turpin next Friday night at 7 p.m. Milford drops to 1-5 overall and 1-4 in ECC play. They will be at home to play Lebanon next Friday night at 7 p.m.
