CINCINNATI, Ohio- Anderson defeated West Clermont 42-0 on Friday night. The Redskins had 404 yards of total offense and dominated offensively and defensively. It was Anderson’s first shutout victory since the postseason of 2017, where they defeated Troy 33-0.

 

Jackson Kuhn had 295 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. He also was a threat in the run game, rushing for 52 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Connor Casey and Andrew Williams both had a receiving touchdown each for the Redskins. Williams also added 49 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Defensively, Max Muehlenkamp and Miles Glen Walker had an interception each for Anderson.

 

Austin Fultz had 12 carries for 67 yards and Josh Hogan had 14 carries for 53 yards for West Clermont. It was a struggle to get their offense going consistently all night. Defensively, Gage Bullock and Stoney Hamilton had an interception each for the Wolves.

 

The Redskins contained the rushing attack of West Clermont and only allowed 134 total yards. Anderson jumped out to a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter and added two more touchdowns to make it 28-0 at halftime. The Redskins never looked back.

 

Anderson improves to 3-1 and will travel to Winton Woods High School to play the undefeated Warriors this Friday night. West Clermont drops to 1-3 and will be home against Kings this upcoming Friday.
