CINCINNATI, Ohio- The Milford Eagles will travel to Anderson High School to take on the Anderson Redskins on Friday, October 2nd, at 7 p.m. Milford is 2-2 and is coming off of a 55-26 win against Little Miami last Friday. Anderson is 3-2 and is coming off of a 48-13 loss to Winton Woods.

 

     Who to watch for on Anderson: Andrew Williams has 309 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. Williams also has 267 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns. Jackson Kuhn has 1,669 passing yards to go along with 241 rushing yards. Kuhn has 12 passing touchdowns and eight rushing touchdowns. Evan Upchurch leads the ECC in receiving yards and is up to 437 receiving yards and two touchdown receptions. Joey Faulkner has three touchdown receptions on 405 receiving yards. Jerrick McClanahan also has three receiving touchdowns to go along with 351 receiving yards. Casey O’ Toole has a sack for Anderson.

 

     Who to watch for on Milford: Natwan Webster has 242 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Webster has 105 receiving yards and a touchdown reception. Sione “Tofa” Luani has 136 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns, and a touchdown reception. Quarterback Austin Hardin has 521 passing yards and seven touchdowns. Seven different Eagles have had a touchdown reception on the season. Vince Ringland leads the way with three touchdown receptions. Noah Earley leads in receiving yards with 211. Defensively, Cam Zoromski leads the ECC in sacks with four. Nick Klenk has two sacks. Johnny Mickler, Cole Love, and Caleb Johns all have a sack each for the Eagles. Mickler also has a forced fumble and Trent Hodge has a fumble recovery.

 

     Milford has turned the ball over at least twice in every game so far this season. Anderson will look to get pressure and force turnovers early. Milford has done a great job getting to the quarterback all season. Can they slow down Anderson’s offense?

 

     Common Opponents: Anderson defeated Little Miami 50-40 to kickoff the season. Milford beat Little Miami 55-26 last Friday. Anderson lost to Winton Woods 48-13 last Friday. Milford was defeated by Winton Woods by a score of 49-14 two weeks ago.

 

     Recent History: Anderson defeated Milford 48-13 in 2019. Anderson is 5-3 against Milford since 2012.
