CINCINNATI, Ohio- Princeton defeated Anderson by a score of 58-45 on Thursday night in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown. Princeton’s offense was on fire, scoring 21 points in each the second and third quarter. The Raptors had a 31-28 lead in the third quarter after trailing 28-17 at halftime. The Vikings then rattled off 24 straight points.

 

     Anderson racked up 470 yards of total offense. Quarterback Griffin Scalf had 462 passing yards and six touchdowns. Joey Faulkner had 11 receptions for 201 yards and two touchdowns. Evan Upchurch had four touchdowns and 154 receiving yards. Brody Berg had an interception for Anderson.

 

     TJ Engleman had four passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns for Princeton. He had 297 yards through the air and 245 yards on the ground. Rodney Harris had two receiving touchdowns. Maurice Borden had both a rushing and receiving touchdown. The Vikings had 727 yards of total offense.

 

     The Raptors turned the ball over five times and struggled to run the ball all night. They had 53 pass attempts compared to only seven rushes. Anderson will look to get their first win of the season against Clinton Massie at home on Friday at 7 p.m. Princeton will be on the road against Loveland on Friday at 7 p.m.
